Expanding access to STEM education and opportunities for young people across Liberia.

STEM Club-Team Liberia is a youth-focused organization dedicated to expanding access to Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education.

Founded on the belief that every young person deserves access to quality STEM education, we work to bridge gaps in learning opportunities by providing practical experiences that inspire creativity, innovation, critical-thinking, and problem-solving. Through our programs, students gain exposure to technology, mentorship, and opportunities that help them prepare for the future.

Our Story

Understanding the challenges facing STEM education in Liberia that inspired the creation of STEM Club-Team Liberia in 2021.

The Challenge

Many young people across Liberia have little to no access to practical STEM education and technology learning opportunities. STEM subjects are often taught primarily through theory, making it difficult to understand and less engaging for students. As a result, many students never have the opportunity to discover or develop their interests and talents in STEM-related fields.

The Gap WE Identified

Many schools lacked modern STEM resources, updated learning materials, laboratory facilities, and access to basic technologies. Girls were often underrepresented in STEM activities, while students in rural communities had limited opportunities to explore innovation and technology.

Our Response

In 2021, STEM Club-Team Liberia was established to bridge these gaps by providing hands-on STEM education, robotics, coding, mentorship training programs, and opportunities that help young people discover their potential and prepare for the future. Today, we continue to empower young Liberians with skills, confidence, and opportunities needed to thrive in a rapidly changing world
